The ESG ADR Forum is a non-profit platform founded by regional experts and thought leaders to address the growing need for ethical, effective dispute resolution in the evolving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) landscape.
The Forum focuses on two key areas: addressing ESG-related disputes and advancing Responsible ADR. By developing robust frameworks for ESG disputes, the Forum sets global standards to address conflicts arising from environmental, social, and governance challenges. At the same time, it promotes Responsible ADR, a practice that integrates principles of sustainability, fairness, and ethical governance into dispute resolution processes.
Beyond framework development, the Forum prioritizes capacity building and recognition through its Practical Engagement Unit (PACE). PACE delivers targeted training and certification programs to equip professionals with the skills needed to address ESG challenges effectively while fostering responsible dispute resolution practices. It also creates platforms for dialogue, such as roundtable discussions, to encourage collaboration and mutual learning among global stakeholders. Additionally, PACE celebrates excellence and leadership in ESG-aligned ADR through its awards and recognition initiatives, inspiring individuals and organizations to contribute meaningfully to sustainability and ethical governance goals.
By combining its two core focus areas, ESG-related dispute resolution and Responsible ADR, the ESG ADR Forum transforms ADR into a powerful tool for positive change. Through collaborative partnerships, practical engagement, and a commitment to capacity building, the Forum works to advance environmental sustainability, social equity, and ethical governance on a global scale.
Legal Plus was set up in 2014 by YA Bhg Tun Zaki Azmi, Chief Justice of the Dubai International Financial Court in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and retired Chief Justice of Malaysia as Chairman, YBhg Tan Sri James Foong, Chairman of Ombudsman for Financial Services and retired Federal Court Judge, Malaysia and Ms Catherine Eu, retired Executive Director of the Bar Council, Malaysia as Directors. The main objective of Legal Plus is to provide continuing professional training, public seminars and events pertaining to legal issues and legal compliances for various professions, trade, industries and enterprises.
